So as much as I would like to journal my progress, it would appear I suck at it.
I started exercising in May of 2011 because I was at least 30 lbs over weight and I was very unhappy with the shape of my body. I worked out with friends, in the basement of a friend from May to December 2011. When the new gym opened just up the street, I had to join and have been working out there since December 2011. On average I am there four to five mornings a week, but when I feel extra motivation I am there daily.
Building into a regular habit of exercise had been a great success. I love it and it's part of my lifestyle, not a chore or "fad". When the alarms goes off at 4:30 am, I still curse it, but I never regret getting up and going to the gym.
I am now ready to tackle my eating. I won't say diet, because I don't believe in diets, or quick fixes. I suppose this blog is now going to turn into my food journal as I try to work my way into a lifestyle of clean eating and living gluten free.
